We can share our internet connection with other wifi enabled computers/laptops and devices without expensive wifi routers easily! This can be done via simple, easy to use and freeware software(we can buy pro version for extra features, but freeware version can perform required functions) called “Connectify Hotspot”. If we have Ethernet cable internet connection, 3G or 4G USB adapters and wifi USB adapters in our home, hostel, school etc, we can easily share that connections with other devices wirelessly. Actually, “Connectify Hotspot” uses  built-in wifi of our computers and makes it a wifi router with amazing range.  Its range is considerable and comparable to expensive wifi routers. In other words, we can make our laptop/computer a hotspot.

This program in fact makes an ad hoc connection to share internet. We can also make ad hoc connection  without using any program but it is somehow tricky. Connectify hotspot application is very easy to use and user friendly. We can even share our files easily by “droping” files to connected devices. We can make “open wifi” network or secure WEP connection.
